Check it out! Craig's bicycle ride around Australia
Between February 2002 and July 2003 I circumnavigated 12,600 miles around the Australian continent on my bicycle, or push bike as they say there. This website was updated every few weeks so people could follow me on my travels. I am no longer adding journal entries to the site, but will continue to add various "advice" pages about biking in Australia in the coming months.

I am currently living in Portland, Oregon, USA right now. I bought a house and a 32 foot extension ladder in 2005, hence I have no other major trips planned at this point. At some point I might publish something on paper about the bicycle trip, complete with lurid tales not found on this website, but that will have to wait for now...too many other projects going on at the moment.

journals and photos
This site is actually quite massive, nearly 1 gig in size! There are 542 daily journal entries with 12,322 photos. Some people have actually read the the entire site and seen every picture. Some entries were written the same day, others were not. Some entires are a thought-provoking and a wholly entertaining read, others are downright boring. Start reading wherever you wish.
